Colorful has expanded its motherboard portfolio in India with the launch of two new Micro-ATX offerings under the iGame B850M ULTRA lineup: the ULTRA-S and the ULTRA-OC. Both motherboards are designed for AMD Ryzen processors and come equipped with advanced features including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, PCIe 5.0, and DDR5 memory support with AMD EXPO compatibility.
Design and Compatibility
The motherboards feature an all-black matte-finish design that pairs seamlessly with Colorful's own iGame GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards, making them ideal for monochrome PC builds. They support the latest AMD Ryzen processors on the AM5 platform, including the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Ryzen 7 9850X3D, catering to gamers seeking top-tier performance.
iGame B850M ULTRA-S Specifications
The ULTRA-S is positioned as a mainstream option. It employs a 14+2+1 phase power design with 80A DrMOS and dual 8-pin CPU connectors. The board supports up to 256GB of DDR5 memory across four DIMM slots. Storage options include three M.2 slots—two PCIe 5.0 and one PCIe 4.0—alongside four SATA ports. The rear I/O features a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port, HDMI, DisplayPort, and 2.5Gb Ethernet.
iGame B850M ULTRA-OC Specifications
The ULTRA-OC is built for overclocking enthusiasts. It adopts a dual-DIMM layout, capping memory at 128GB but supporting manual DDR5 speeds up to 8800MHz. Its power design is a 10+2+1 phase 60A DrMOS setup. Networking is upgraded to 5Gb Ethernet, a significant improvement for heavy file transfers or NAS environments. Both boards include four PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots in total, with differing splits between the models, and feature M.2 Quick Latch for tool-free installation.
Pricing and Availability
Colorful has not yet announced India pricing for the iGame B850M ULTRA-S and ULTRA-OC. The announcement was made from Mumbai on May 20.
