CCTV footage reportedly showed three unidentified persons carrying away the cylinders on a motorcycle. In another case on May 2, Ratibad police busted a two-member gang allegedly involved in stealing domestic LPG cylinders. During the investigation, police found that the accused targeted LPG cylinders to fund their liquor consumption and lifestyle expenses. Five stolen cylinders, a motorcycle, and burglary tools worth around Rs 1 lakh were recovered from their possession.
Authorities are urging residents to secure their LPG cylinders and report any suspicious activity to prevent further incidents.
