Kai Cenat has advised fans and aspiring Streamer University students to remain home after the planned application event in Atlanta could not secure a final venue. The event, originally scheduled for June 16, was intended to be the last stop of the Streamer University 2026 in-person application tour. However, organizers announced that multiple venues withdrew their support, making it impossible to proceed as planned.
Venue Challenges Force Event Cancellation
In an update shared on Instagram, Cenat's team explained that the overwhelming interest in the event raised concerns among venue operators. The expected crowd size and logistical challenges of managing such a large gathering led several venues to back out at the last minute. Consequently, fans were urged not to travel to the event location and to await further announcements.
According to the statement, Atlanta remains the planned final city for Streamer University's in-person applications. However, organizers have not yet confirmed a new venue or date. The team stated they are actively searching for a location that can safely accommodate the anticipated turnout.
Previous Events in New York and Los Angeles
Streamer University 2026 has already held in-person application events in New York City and Los Angeles. Unlike the program's first iteration, this year's applicants were invited to appear in person and explain why they deserve a spot in the Class of 2026. The New York stop drew massive crowds, with videos showing long lines of hopeful applicants, some of whom reportedly camped overnight. Other clips appeared to show police responding after a fight broke out near the line.
Following the New York event, additional videos circulated on social media depicting trash and debris outside the venue. This led some to speculate whether concerns about crowd control and cleanup contributed to Atlanta's venue issues. However, Cenat's team did not mention those incidents in their statement. Instead, they emphasized that venue decisions were based solely on capacity and logistics.
Future Plans
The organizers affirmed they are still working to make the Atlanta event happen and will share confirmed details once finalized. For now, the Atlanta Streamer University application event is on hold. Fans hoping to attend must wait for Kai Cenat and his team to announce a new venue and date.
