The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have officially released the RRB NTPC Undergraduate admit card 2026 under notification CEN 07/2025. Candidates appearing for the Computer-Based Test (CBT-1) can now access their hall tickets through the official regional portals of the respective RRBs.
Exam Schedule and Admit Card Release Timeline
The CBT-1 examination for NTPC UG posts will be conducted in multiple phases, spanning dates in May and June 2026. The admit cards are being issued in a staggered manner, with each document made available four days prior to the respective examination date.
The first phase of the examination is scheduled for May 7, 8, and 9, 2026. Subsequent phases will take place on June 13, 14, and from June 16 to 21, 2026. For instance, candidates appearing on May 7 received their admit cards on May 3, 2026. This pattern applies to all exam dates, ensuring candidates have access well in advance.
Exam city details are shared ten days before the examination, allowing candidates to plan their travel accordingly.
Vacancy Details and Eligibility Criteria
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 3,058 undergraduate-level vacancies under the NTPC category. Applicants must have completed Class 12 to meet the minimum educational qualification.
The prescribed age limit ranges from 18 to 30 years, with January 1, 2026, as the reference date for age calculation. Relaxations in the upper age limit are applicable as per existing government rules. The application process commenced on October 28, 2025, and concluded on December 4, 2026.
CBT-1 Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
The CBT-1 examination will consist of 100 objective-type questions carrying a total of 100 marks. The paper is divided into three sections: General Awareness (40 questions), Mathematics (30 questions), and General Intelligence and Reasoning (30 questions). Candidates will be given 90 minutes to complete the examination. A negative marking scheme is in place, with one-third of a mark deducted for each incorrect response. The examination will be conducted online as a computer-based test.

- Click on the admit card download link for CEN 07/2025.
- Log in using your registration number and date of birth.
- Once logged in, the admit card link will appear on the dashboard.
- Download and print the admit card for use on the examination day.
Candidates are advised to check all details on the admit card carefully and carry a valid photo ID to the exam center.
