On Computer
Remove the Email from Spam
After removing the email, future messages from that sender will not go to Spam.
- Open Gmail on your computer.
- On the left, in the main menu, click More and then Spam.
- Check the box next to the email you want to remove.
- At the top, click Not spam.
Add the Sender to Your Contacts
When you add the sender to Google Contacts, their emails will not go to Spam.
- Go to Google Contacts on your computer.
- At the top left, click Create contact and then Create a contact or Create multiple contacts.
- Enter the contact’s information.
- Click Save.
Create a Filter for Your Sender
You can create a filter so a specific sender’s emails never go to Spam.
- Open Gmail on your computer.
- At the top, in the search bar, click Show search options.
- Next to From, enter the sender’s email address.
- To verify your search works, click Search.
- At the bottom of the search window, click Create filter.
- Next to Never send it to Spam, check the box.
