Record-Breaking Distances and Courteous Riders
The data reveals a monumental year for Uber in India. Collectively, users travelled over 11.6 billion kilometers using the platform in 2025. This marks a substantial 26.5 percent increase compared to the distances covered in 2024. To visualize this scale, it is equivalent to making more than 3.2 million trips between Srinagar and Kanyakumari within the year.
A heartening trend from the report is the consistently high rating of riders by drivers across the country. Leading the pack was Kochi, with an average rider rating of 4.91 out of 5. An astounding 98.3 percent of trips in the city received a perfect five-star rating from drivers. There was a clear shift towards sustainable options, with Indians travelling 365 million kilometers in Uber EVs, spending 54 million hours in electric vehicles. The premium Uber Black service recorded over 34 million kilometers of travel, primarily for airport and work commutes in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore.
Beyond passenger travel, Uber Courier played a vital role in logistics, with delivery demand peaking between 1 PM and 3 PM. The service gained around 3 million new users, with one exceptionally active user completing 5,218 deliveries.
