Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are no longer exclusive to premium luxury vehicles. Several manufacturers are now offering these features in cars and SUVs priced under Rs 15 lakh, making safety technology more accessible to the mass market. Features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, forward collision warning, and autonomous emergency braking are becoming common in compact cars and SUVs due to growing competition and increasing buyer emphasis on safety.
Honda Amaze
The Honda Amaze is the most affordable car with ADAS in India. The top-spec ZX trim, priced from Rs 9.3 lakh, features a camera-based ADAS system. The suite includes lane keep assist, lane departure warning, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and auto high-beam assist.
