Lenovo Launches Qira AI and Enterprise AI Plan in India

Lenovo Showcases Qira AI and Enterprise AI Vision at Tech World India 2025

Lenovo concluded the India edition of its annual Tech World event in New Delhi on Wednesday, leveraging the two-day showcase to introduce its ambient AI system, Qira, to the Indian market and outline a comprehensive enterprise AI playbook for the region.

Qira: A Personal Ambient Intelligence System

Qira, described by Lenovo as a "personal ambient intelligence system," is engineered to function seamlessly across Lenovo and Motorola devices. This AI agent is designed to maintain context and memory, transferring information from one device to another. Essentially, it acts as an AI layer that accompanies users across their gadgets, rather than being confined to a single app or product.

New Enterprise Solutions Unveiled

Held at the JW Marriott in the capital, the event also featured the launch of new Think Systems and Think Edge inferencing servers. Lenovo claims these servers offer up to five times the GPU performance compared to previous generations. These solutions are targeted at businesses seeking to run AI workloads on their own infrastructure, reducing reliance on cloud services.

Focus on Hybrid AI for Indian Enterprises

On the second day, Lenovo's global and regional leadership, including Matt Zielinski, Executive Vice President for International Markets, and India Managing Director Shailendra Katyal, took the stage. They were joined by ecosystem partners from Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, and Microsoft, all advocating for enterprise AI adoption.

Katyal emphasized that India is at a "decisive point in its AI-led techade," highlighting the country's talent pool and investments in digital infrastructure as critical enablers. Additionally, Lenovo spotlighted its role as the Official Technology Partner for the FIFA World Cup 2026, where its AI solutions will enhance stadium operations and fan experiences.

Lighter Activities on Day One

The first day of the event included masterclasses conducted by content creators, gamers, and digital artists, offering a more relaxed and interactive experience for attendees.
