Lucknow: Sarojini Nagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh on Wednesday declared that the constituency is being transformed into a 'Youth Empowerment Model' through comprehensive initiatives targeting education, sports, digital skills, employment, fitness, and sustainable development.
Focus on Holistic Youth Development
Singh emphasized that youths should prioritize education, sports, innovation, skill development, and personality growth. He underscored that artificial intelligence, robotics, startups, and emerging technologies necessitate continuous skill upgradation for the youth to remain competitive.
Achievements in Three Years
Highlighting the accomplishments over the past three years, Singh noted that over 10,000 youths have participated in the Sarojini Nagar Sports League. Additionally, more than 1,500 children received free training at 15 RBS digital empowerment centres. Nearly 2,000 meritorious students were provided with laptops, tablets, and bicycles to support their education.
Infrastructure and Future-Ready Initiatives
Smart classes and digital libraries have been established in around 60 schools. Under the AI and Future Education Initiative, seven schools are being developed with robotics labs and future classrooms. Singh also highlighted ongoing projects aimed at making Sarojini Nagar a future-ready constituency, focusing on sustainable development and technological integration.
These efforts are part of a broader vision to equip the youth with the necessary tools and opportunities to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
