In a significant move to revitalize postal services for the younger generation, a cutting-edge 'Gen-G' themed post office is set to be established on the campus of the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIIT-A) in Prayagraj. Senior superintendent of post offices, Sushil Kumar Tiwari, highlighted that the upcoming post office will seamlessly blend communication facilities with recreational elements. It will include provisions for tea, snacks, and entertainment, marking a strategic step towards modernizing postal infrastructure and enhancing its relevance for contemporary users. Officials emphasized that the new facility will boast a modern interior design, high-speed Wi-Fi, digital service counters, and QR-based parcel booking systems to streamline operations.
