Bengaluru: A significant turnout of over 2,700 citizens marked the second open house session aimed at providing khata-related services, as part of the newly launched ‘My e-khata My Right’ campaign. The event underscores the state government’s commitment to simplifying land records and property documentation for residents.

Campaign Launch by Deputy CM

Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar officially inaugurated the campaign, describing it as the state government’s sixth guarantee, named the Bhumi (Land) Guarantee. He emphasized that this initiative would ensure transparency and ease of access to khata services, which are essential for property ownership and transactions.

High Public Participation

The open house witnessed a large number of attendees, reflecting the pressing need for efficient land record management. Citizens availed services related to e-khata issuance, corrections, and updates. Officials were on hand to address queries and expedite processes.
