2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift Spotted with New Engine and Features

The much-awaited Maruti Brezza facelift has been spotted testing on Indian roads, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the updated compact SUV. The test mule, heavily camouflaged, hints at significant changes under the hood and inside the cabin. According to sources, the 2026 Brezza will feature a new 1.5-liter K15C DualJet petrol engine, replacing the current K15B unit. This engine is expected to deliver better fuel efficiency and performance, with power output likely around 103 bhp and 138 Nm of torque.

Design and Exterior Updates

The facelift will sport a revised front fascia with a larger grille, new LED headlamps, and a redesigned bumper. At the rear, expect updated taillights and a tweaked bumper. The side profile remains largely unchanged, but new alloy wheel designs are anticipated. Overall, the Brezza facelift aims to keep its contemporary look fresh against rivals like the Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet.

Interior and Features

Inside, the Brezza facelift is likely to get a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other expected additions include a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, and a sunroof. The dashboard design may be revised with better materials and a new instrument cluster. Safety features will include six airbags, electronic stability control, and hill hold assist as standard.

Engine and Powertrain

The new K15C engine will be offered with a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, Maruti is reportedly working on a mild-hybrid system for better fuel economy. The diesel variant is likely discontinued due to stricter emission norms.

Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch the Brezza facelift in India by the end of 2026, with prices starting around Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated model will continue to compete in the highly competitive compact SUV segment.
