Samsung is reportedly gearing up for its next major flagship cycle, with the highly anticipated Galaxy S26 series poised to be its next big launch. The Galaxy S26 series is widely tipped for a grand unveiling at a Galaxy Unpacked event in February 2026. The most frequently cited date for the launch is February 25. The flagship Ultra model is rumoured to sport a massive 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. A significant upgrade in peak brightness is also on the cards, with the panel potentially reaching an impressive 3,000 nits.
Powerful Internals and Camera Overhaul
Under the hood, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to receive a major performance boost by incorporating the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which will likely be optimised specifically for Galaxy devices.
