HP India Launches High-Productivity FS70 W Large Format Printer at Media Expo Mumbai 2026
HP India has officially launched the HP Latex FS70 W Printer, marking it as the company's most productive large format printer to date. The unveiling took place at the Media Expo Mumbai 2026, where the industrial-class 10-foot printer was showcased to industry professionals and media representatives.
Unmatched Speed and Performance for Print Service Providers
The HP Latex FS70 W is engineered to deliver exceptional output speeds, with a peak capacity of up to 162 square meters per hour. For outdoor applications, it operates at a rated speed of 117 m²/hr, while indoor printing reaches 91 m²/hr. These impressive numbers are specifically designed to enable print service providers to complete jobs more rapidly without compromising on the quality of the final output.
Comprehensive Productivity Enhancements and Software Updates
In addition to the hardware launch, HP announced the HP Latex Productivity Kit, which is targeted at existing owners of FS50 and FS60 models. This kit promises productivity gains of up to 30% in key applications, allowing businesses to enhance their operations without the need for a full printer replacement.
HP also introduced an updated version of the HP PrintOS Production Hub. This software update brings several advanced features, including e-commerce order integration, automatic preflighting, and a unified dashboard. HP is positioning this as an end-to-end connected workflow platform, aimed at streamlining operations for print service providers.
Advanced Features for Business Expansion and Sustainability
The FS70 W is equipped with a 6-liter white ink cartridge, enabling print service providers to venture into higher-margin specialty applications. It also features a 10-liter high-capacity ink system, an optional overcoat printhead, and a jumbo dual-roll kit for extended unattended printing runs. An embedded spectrophotometer ensures consistent color accuracy across printer fleets globally.
On the sustainability front, the printer utilizes odorless, water-based HP Latex inks that have been certified by UL ECOLOGO and UL GREENGUARD Gold. HP's Planet Partners program further supports environmental efforts by managing the supply and recycling of hardware components.
Strategic Market Positioning and Portfolio Expansion
Vitesh Sharma, Country Head for HP's Large Format Printing Business across India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, emphasized India's role as a dynamic and fast-evolving market. He noted that the FS70 W complements HP's existing portfolio, which includes the recently launched R530 model capable of handling both rigid and flexible media.
All three products—the FS70 W printer, the productivity kit, and the updated PrintOS—are on display at Hall 06, Stall M20, Bombay Exhibition Centre, through April 11, 2026.
