Hyundai Unveils Sporty Grand i10 Nios Vibe Edition in Indian Market
Hyundai Motor India has significantly expanded its popular Grand i10 Nios lineup with the introduction of a new Vibe Edition, now available across the country. This special edition model aims to attract buyers seeking a sportier and more feature-rich hatchback experience.
Pricing and Variant Details
The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Vibe Edition is positioned as a premium offering within the range, with prices starting at Rs 7.09 lakh for the base manual variant and going up to Rs 7.73 lakh for the top-spec automatic model, all ex-showroom. It is based on the existing Sportz and Sportz (O) variants, offering enhanced value through cosmetic and functional upgrades.
Specifically, the Sportz Vibe MT is priced at Rs 7,09,400, while the Sportz Vibe AMT costs Rs 7,61,400. The top-end Sportz (O) Vibe AMT variant carries a price tag of Rs 7,73,400. In a related move, Hyundai has also updated the Asta trim, now available at Rs 7,50,700 for the manual and Rs 8,02,600 for the AMT version. The standard Grand i10 Nios range continues to be priced from Rs 5.55 lakh to Rs 7.91 lakh ex-showroom.
Design and Aesthetic Enhancements
The Vibe Edition distinguishes itself with a more aggressive and dynamic appearance. Key exterior updates include:
- Black-painted 15-inch alloy wheels that add a bold contrast
- Projector headlamps for improved visibility and modern styling
- A new Titan Grey Matte paint option, providing a unique and contemporary finish
Inside the cabin, Hyundai has adopted a black theme with red accents, creating a sporty ambiance. The inclusion of a leather-wrapped steering wheel enhances the premium feel, making the driving experience more comfortable and upscale.

The Grand i10 Nios Vibe Edition retains the familiar 1.2-litre petrol engine, which delivers 83 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) gearbox, catering to diverse driving preferences. It is important to note that the CNG option remains exclusive to the standard variants and is not available in the Vibe Edition.
