Motorola has officially announced the launch of its Razr Fold series, a premium foldable Android smartphone, in India by mid-2026. The device was first unveiled at MWC 2026, marking the company's entry into the notebook-style foldable phone segment.
Display and Design
The Razr Fold features a 6.6-inch LTPO pOLED cover display with a resolution of 2520x1080 pixels and a 165Hz refresh rate, capable of reaching a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. The main screen is an 8.1-inch 2K UTG display with a resolution of 2484x2232 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, peaking at 6,200 nits. Both displays are protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3. The phone is available in Pantone Blackened Blue and Lily White, with a durable teardrop hinge design and support for the Moto Pen Ultra.
Performance and Battery
Under the hood, the Razr Fold is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It houses a 6,000mAh battery that supports 80W TurboPower wired charging and 50W wireless charging. According to Motorola, just 12 minutes of charging can provide over 12 hours of usage.
Camera System
The device boasts a triple 50MP rear camera setup, which includes a 3X periscope telephoto lens and a 122-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor. It supports 8K Dolby Vision video recording. For selfies, there is a 32MP front-facing camera.
Availability
Motorola expects to launch the Razr Fold series in India by the end of May or early June 2026. Pricing details have not been disclosed yet.
