OnePlus Pad Go 2 Launched: Price, Specs, Release Date

OnePlus has officially introduced its latest tablet, the Pad Go 2, to the Indian market. This marks a significant step for the brand as it is their first tablet to offer 5G connectivity. The device promises enhanced performance, a larger screen, and new productivity features, with a starting price of Rs 26,999. It is scheduled to go on sale from December 18.

OnePlus Pad Go 2: Key Upgrades and Display Features

The new Pad Go 2 brings substantial improvements over its predecessor. The centerpiece is a stunning 12.1-inch display with a 2.8K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It boasts a peak brightness of 900 nits and supports Dolby Vision for a superior visual experience.

OnePlus has retained the unique 7:5 "ReadFit" aspect ratio. This design is not just for looks; it provides 14% more active screen area compared to traditional 16:10 displays. This makes the tablet particularly well-suited for reading documents, browsing the web, and handling productivity tasks.

Powerful Performance and Battery Life

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset, built on an efficient 4nm architecture. This represents a major performance leap from the older Helio G99 processor used in the previous model. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offers a choice between 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Keeping the device running is a massive 10,050mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. OnePlus claims this setup can deliver up to 15 hours of video playback and an impressive 60 days of standby time. For audio, the tablet features four speakers equipped with Omnibearing Sound Field technology for an immersive soundscape.

Stylus Support and AI-Powered Software

A notable highlight of this launch is the new OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo. This accessory offers 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and boasts a battery life of up to 20 hours. A quick 10-minute charge can power the stylus for 12 hours of use. It enables features like handwriting recognition, solving mathematical calculations, and quick note-taking.

The tablet runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. It supports advanced multitasking through Open Canvas, allowing for split-screen and floating windows. To boost productivity, OnePlus has integrated several AI tools, including AI Writer, AI Recorder, and AI Editor.
