The Rapoo MT760L is a productivity-focused wireless mouse that aims to deliver premium features without a premium price tag. Priced at Rs 4,499 on Amazon and other online platforms, it offers tri-mode connectivity, adjustable DPI settings, multi-device support, side scrolling, and a rechargeable battery. On paper, it checks many boxes for professionals who work across multiple devices. After spending time with the mouse for everyday office work, document editing, and browsing, we found that the MT760L delivers a comfortable and reliable experience, though it has a few shortcomings.
Performance
The first thing we noticed was the shape of the Rapoo MT760L. The ergonomic design with a thumb rest makes the mouse comfortable to hold for long hours. Users with medium to large hands will especially appreciate the fit. The textured finish also helps maintain grip during extended work sessions. The tri-mode connectivity works well. We were able to switch between devices using Bluetooth and the included 2.4GHz dongle without any major issues. This feature is particularly useful for users who work with a laptop, tablet, and desktop simultaneously.
Tracking performance is reliable. The laser sensor works on most desk surfaces, including wood and fabric mouse pads. The four DPI levels — 600, 1200, 1600, and 3200 — provide enough flexibility for different workflows. We mostly used the 1600 DPI setting, which felt balanced for office tasks and web browsing.
Side Scroll Wheel and Additional Features
One of the highlights is the side scroll wheel. It makes horizontal scrolling through spreadsheets and large documents much easier. Users who regularly work on Excel sheets or editing timelines will appreciate this addition. The main scroll wheel is also smooth and provides good tactile feedback. The M+ cross-computer feature is another interesting addition. It allows users to move files, images, and text between multiple computers. While the setup requires installing software and connecting devices to the same network, it works as advertised once configured.
Battery Life and Build
Battery life is another strong point. The built-in 800mAh battery lasted several weeks during our testing, and USB-C charging means topping it up is quick and convenient. Most users are unlikely to worry about charging it frequently. That said, the mouse is slightly larger and heavier than a standard office mouse. Users with smaller hands may need some time to get comfortable.
Verdict
The Rapoo MT760L offers a strong combination of comfort, connectivity, and productivity-focused features. Its ergonomic design, compatibility with multiple devices, side scroll wheel, and long battery life make it a practical option for professionals, students, and anyone who spends a lot of time at their desk. Although the cross-device features that rely on software might not appeal to everyone, the mouse performs well even without them. For those seeking a wireless productivity mouse with premium features at a relatively affordable price, the Rapoo MT760L is an easy recommendation at its current price of Rs 4,499.
