Vivo is preparing to launch its next-generation foldable smartphone, the X Fold6, by the end of June or early July 2024. The device is expected to feature a groundbreaking 200MP camera sensor, MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset, and advanced Zeiss optics, promising DSLR-level photography and high-performance computing.
200MP Camera with Zeiss Optics
The X Fold6 will be equipped with a 200MP primary sensor, paired with a Zeiss APO super periscope telephoto lens. This combination enables a 200mm equivalent telephoto reach, supported by a G2 teleconverter co-developed by Vivo and Zeiss. An Imaging Chip V3+ further enhances image quality in all lighting conditions, delivering sharp, detailed photos.
Dimensity 9500 Super Edition Chipset
Powering the device is MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 Super Edition, a chip optimized for high-resolution video processing, gaming, and AI applications. This ensures smooth multitasking and efficient performance for demanding tasks.
Samsung M14 Display
The foldable phone will feature an advanced Samsung M14 display with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, making it ideal for outdoor use and multimedia consumption. The high brightness ensures excellent visibility even under direct sunlight.
Expected Launch Timeline
