The Wzatco Yuva Go Ultra is the brand's most ambitious offering in the Yuva series, priced at just under Rs 18,000. It boasts specifications that would have cost twice as much from mainstream brands a couple of years ago, including 13,000 lumens, native 1080p resolution, Google TV certification, Android 14, WiFi 6, and a fully sealed optical engine. This review examines whether the projector delivers on its claims in real-world use.
Design and Build
The Wzatco Yuva Go Ultra impresses with its compact and seamless design. Weighing around 1.04 kg, it is lightweight and easy to move between rooms. The matte finish and minimalistic profile fit well with modern home decor. A flexible bracket provides useful angle adjustment without increasing the footprint. The lens is centrally placed on the front, flanked by ventilation grilles. Physical controls on top allow basic navigation without the remote. The remote includes dedicated Google TV buttons, a microphone for Google Voice Assistant, and quick-access streaming shortcuts.
A key feature is the completely sealed optical engine, which prevents dust and moisture from degrading image quality over time. Wzatco claims a lamp life of up to 30,000 hours, translating to over two decades of use at three to four hours daily. Connectivity options include one HDMI port, one USB port, a 3.5mm audio output, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0. Screen mirroring is supported via Miracast for Android and iOS devices.
Performance
The native 1080p resolution delivers sharp, detailed images across a projection range of 40 to 200 inches, with an optimal sweet spot between 80 and 130 inches. Text is readable, and streaming content from platforms like Netflix and YouTube looks cinematic. The 13,000-lumen brightness claim requires context; real-world brightness is lower but still impressive for the price. In a darkened room, the image is vibrant, and it holds up well with indirect ambient light. However, in bright daylight, the image washes out significantly, making it best suited for evening or dark-room use.
Color reproduction is warm and saturated, ideal for movies and streaming. The 7000:1 contrast ratio provides reasonable depth, though blacks are not as deep as those from laser or OLED TVs. Auto-alignment features—Auto Focus, Auto Keystone Correction, and Auto Obstacle Avoidance—work reliably and quickly, making setup effortless. The projector runs Android 14 with Google TV, offering a smooth software experience with access to the Play Store and Google Voice Assistant. WiFi 6 ensures stable streaming without buffering on 1080p content.
The built-in 5W speaker is adequate for casual viewing and dialogue-heavy content but lacks bass and dynamic range. For a proper home cinema setup, an external Bluetooth soundbar is recommended. The 1GB RAM and 8GB storage can cause slower loading for heavier apps, but for streaming-focused use, it is acceptable.
Verdict
The Wzatco Yuva Go Ultra is a genuinely impressive projector at Rs 17,990. It combines native 1080p resolution, meaningful brightness, a sealed long-life optical engine, Google TV certification, WiFi 6, and intelligent auto-alignment features—a rare bundle at this price in the Indian market.
