Bandai Namco has officially unveiled the launch trailer for the highly anticipated Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, generating excitement among gaming enthusiasts across India. The trailer release comes just ahead of the game's scheduled arrival on both the current Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 consoles.
Gameplay Features and Character Roster
The newly released footage provides comprehensive insights into how the classic brawler has been transformed for modern gaming systems. Sparking! Zero marks the triumphant return of the Budokai Tenkaichi-style arena fighter, completely rebuilt with expanded character selections and significantly improved visual effects.
According to Nintendo Everything, both Switch versions will include the same core lineup featuring over 180 fighters drawn from Dragon Ball Z, Super, GT, and multiple feature films. Each character comes equipped with their signature transformations, special attacks, and the massive-scale finishers that have become synonymous with the Dragon Ball franchise.
Multiplayer and Story Modes
The trailer showcases the game's dynamic elements including rapid 3D movement, intense beam duels, chase sequences, and powerful impact shots that send characters flying across landscapes. The multiplayer options are particularly impressive, with local multiplayer supporting up to six players on a single console while online modes enable head-to-head matchups.
Players can also utilize wireless play by linking multiple systems together. The game incorporates Joy-Con motion inputs, allowing gamers to trigger special abilities through gesture-based actions. Story routes cover crucial moments from earlier Dragon Ball arcs, with cutscenes presented from eight different character perspectives.
Adding to the replay value, the creation mode enables players to design their own match setups and share them online with the global gaming community.
