Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 has arrived, bringing a groundbreaking change from Epic Games. For the first time, a brand-new island has been introduced halfway through a chapter. The previous Golden Coast is gone, replaced entirely by the Shattered Coast. This sprawling new map emerged from the dramatic Shattered live event, introducing several new Points of Interest (POIs). Almost every familiar location has been wiped away, offering players fresh landing spots.
All Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 Map Changes
The Chapter 7 Season 3 update has not simply tweaked a single POI or added a biome; it has shaken up the entire map. Only two POIs from Chapter 7 Season 2 survived the transition: Wonkeeland and Latte Landing. Everything else has been rebuilt from the ground up.

All New POIs in Chapter 7 Season 3
Lifty Lodge: Located in the northwest corner of the map, this skiing-inspired POI sits in the snowy mountains. A massive zipline near its main building adds a layer of verticality.
Battlewoods: This replaces Battlewood Boulevard. It retains the Battlewood sign from previous seasons but is now surrounded by dense trees, making it an ideal early-game drop.
Sinister Strip: Arguably the most story-driven addition. The Dark Voyager transformed Sandy Strip into a propaganda piece following his victory in the Shattered live event.
Frosted Flats: Keeps the Ice King's legacy alive. Located extremely close to the Zero Point at the center of the map, this POI is home to a FrosDeez store that veteran players will recognize from earlier chapters.
Shaken Sanctuary: Highlights the fallout from the Showdown Rivalries event. The Visitor's betrayal has left the New Sanctuary a shell of its former self.
Cluster Coast: Provides the Runners Battle Pass its own dedicated corner of the map. Located at the southeast edge of Shattered Coast, it features Cluster-themed decorations.
Heatwave Harbor: Introduces an industrial feel with multiple high-rise buildings and a functional port. It may be tied to the Runners storyline as the season progresses.
Sunken Shores: A heavy rework of Squibbly Shores, now occupying the southernmost point of the island.
Calamari Canyon: Sits west of the Zero Point in a desert biome.
Chopped Shop: Built entirely around vehicle customization, potentially teasing the return of vehicle mods.
Golden Grove: Located on the eastern side of the map, beside Frosted Flats.
With a plethora of new POIs to explore and only a handful of familiar locations remaining, Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 brings one of the most significant map overhauls in the game's history.
