In a major announcement, Bethesda has confirmed that the highly anticipated action role-playing game Starfield will be released for PlayStation 5 on April 7. This launch coincides with the rollout of the game's biggest free update yet, titled Free Lanes, and the introduction of a brand-new story DLC called Terran Armada. According to the release, adaptive triggers dynamically adjust based on the weapon or starship loadout, the light bar provides real-time feedback on health and ship integrity, and the touchpad allows seamless switching between first- and third-person perspectives or quick access to maps and hand scanners.
Additionally, in-game audio logs and non-local ship intercoms will be channeled through the DualSense controller's speaker, deepening player immersion. For those with a PlayStation 5 Pro, the game offers two optimized graphics modes: a Visual mode that delivers 4K resolution at 30 frames per second for superior image quality, and a Performance mode that enhances visuals while maintaining a smooth 60 frames per second.
