MVJ College Hosts Project Expo 2026 with 250+ Innovations

Bengaluru: MVJ College of Engineering announced on Monday that it successfully hosted its flagship academic event, Project Expo 2026, on May 9. The event brought together student innovators, industry experts, and academicians under the theme 'Youth and Innovation: Building Modern India.'

The exposition was held at the Dr. MV Jayaraman Auditorium and showcased projects from the mechanical, computer science, and electrical science streams. It witnessed participation from 41 colleges across Karnataka and neighboring states, with more than 250 projects presented. Following a multi-stage evaluation process, around 60 projects were shortlisted for the final round.

Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of innovation, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies, aligning with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. During the inaugural session, a book titled 'Engineering Tomorrow: A Compendium of Youth Innovations' was released.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, which featured a total cash prize pool of Rs 2 lakh. The expo served as a platform for young minds to showcase their creativity and technical prowess, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Organizers expressed satisfaction with the turnout and the quality of projects, noting that the event highlighted the potential of youth in driving India's technological and economic growth. The college plans to continue such initiatives to nurture talent and contribute to the nation's development goals.
