Akasa Air's New Routes

Akasa Air launched daily direct services linking Noida with Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai. The airline operated four services on its first day—two arrivals and two departures—taking the total number of services to 16, comprising eight departures and eight arrivals. With these additions, passengers can now travel directly between Noida and Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Amritsar, Jammu, and Navi Mumbai.

Akasa Air's Vision

Anand Srinivasan, co-founder and chief commercial officer at Akasa Air, stated that the airline sees strong demand on the Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai sectors. “We see Noida International Airport evolving into a key pillar of our network architecture, supporting both point-to-point traffic and future connectivity flows while contributing meaningfully to our long-term growth,” he added.

Srinivasan noted that Akasa's entry aligns with the airline's strategy of building scale at high-potential aviation hubs and improving air travel accessibility. “We will progressively strengthen our network from Noida International Airport, expanding both domestic and international connectivity over time,” he said.

MRO Facility Plans

Srinivasan added that Akasa will also operate a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility within the airport premises to support aircraft maintenance operations and enhance operational efficiency.
