Samsung Emerges as Top Winner at Times of India-Gadgets Now Awards 2025

The Times of India–Gadgets Now Awards 2025, announced on Monday, January 23 in New Delhi, celebrated the most outstanding smartphones and tablets launched over the past year. Samsung stood out as the biggest winner, securing top honours across both the Editor’s Choice and People’s Choice categories. The awards highlighted devices excelling in performance, design, camera capabilities, and overall value, with flagship smartphones leading the way and strong competition in affordable and gaming segments.

Editor’s Choice Awards: Recognising Excellence in Smartphones and Tablets

In the Editor’s Choice smartphone category, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra was named Best Smartphone of the Year, praised for its all-round performance and premium features. Apple’s iPhone 17 won Best Premium Smartphone of the Year, while the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL took home the award for Best Camera Smartphone of the Year. The Best Affordable Smartphone of the Year title went to the Nothing Phone 3(a), with the Vivo T4 Ultra recognised as the Best Gaming Smartphone of the Year. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 won Best Foldable Smartphone of the Year, and the OnePlus 13s was named Best Affordable Premium Smartphone of the Year. In the tablet segment, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra was awarded Best Tablet of the Year.

People’s Choice Awards: Voted by Users for Popular Devices

In the People’s Choice awards, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra once again claimed Best Smartphone of the Year, underlining its popularity among users. The Samsung Galaxy S25 won Best Premium Smartphone of the Year, while the S25 Ultra also secured Best Camera Smartphone of the Year. The Best Gaming Smartphone of the Year award went to the OnePlus 15R, and Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 won Best Foldable Smartphone of the Year. The Samsung Galaxy A17 was named Best Affordable Smartphone of the Year, while the Google Pixel 9a took the Best Affordable Premium Smartphone of the Year title. Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge was recognised for Best Gadgets with an Out-of-the-Box Design. In the tablet category, users also voted the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra as Best Tablet of the Year.
