A shocking incident unfolded on Saturday night in the Barwala area of Hisar district, where a moving electric car suddenly caught fire on the Rajli village road. The driver, identified as Manish from Sulkhani village, narrowly escaped by jumping out of the vehicle just in time, while the Tata Tiago EV was completely gutted within minutes.
Driver's Quick Thinking Prevents Tragedy
According to reports, Manish, who works as an instructor at ITI Barwala, was returning home from Barwala in his Tata Tiago EV when the incident occurred. As he approached Rajli village, he sensed unusual heat inside the car. Acting swiftly, he pulled over to the roadside and stepped out immediately.

The fire intensified so quickly that the vehicle was reduced to ashes in no time. He emphasized that even a slight delay in his response could have led to a serious mishap, highlighting the critical nature of his quick thinking.
Fire Brigade Response and Investigation
On receiving information about the fire, a fire brigade team rushed to the spot. However, by the time they arrived, the car was already fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters worked diligently to bring the blaze under control, successfully preventing it from spreading to nearby areas and averting further damage.
