Vivo has officially announced that its premium flagship smartphones, the X300 and X300 Pro, will soon make their debut in the Indian market. While the company has not disclosed an exact launch date, industry speculation points toward a December release, strategically timed to compete with other major smartphone launches this season.
What to Expect from Vivo X300 Series
Having already been introduced in China and other international markets, the specifications of the Vivo X300 series provide a clear picture of what Indian consumers can anticipate. The standard Vivo X300 model boasts a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with an exceptional peak brightness of 4,500 nits, protected by Armor Glass. The screen supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and features 2160Hz PWM dimming for reduced eye strain.
Performance is driven by the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, coupled with an Arm Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU. This chipset powers both the X300 and X300 Pro models. A significant software change accompanies these devices, as they will be the first Vivo phones in India to run on Origin OS 6, based on Android 16, marking the transition from the familiar FuntouchOS.

The Pro variant steps up with a larger 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display, sharing the same 4,500 nits peak brightness and 120Hz refresh rate. Both phones are built to be durable, featuring an IP68 and IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, allowing them to survive submersion in up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes.
Where the Pro model truly differentiates itself is in its camera configuration. It sports a 50MP Sony LYT828 primary shooter, a 20MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a massive 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto lens. The front camera remains a 50MP sensor. The Pro model also gets a battery upgrade, housing a 6,510 mAh battery with the same 90W wired and 40W wireless charging support.
