Google Announces 2026 Startup Accelerator Cohort in India
Google has selected 20 AI-first startups from over 2,000 applicants for its 2026 Startup Accelerator programme in India. The initiative, now in its 10th anniversary, aims to drive innovation across key sectors including legal, healthcare, climate, finance, and cybersecurity.
Selected Startups and Focus Areas
The chosen startups leverage agentic workflows and physical AI systems to address challenges in diverse domains. They will receive equity-free support, access to Google’s AI tools such as Gemini, Gemma, and Imagen, along with Cloud TPUs and one-on-one mentorship from Google experts.
Programme Structure and Duration
The accelerator includes a three-month in-person bootcamp at Google’s Bengaluru campus, followed by ongoing guidance to refine products and prepare for scaled deployment. This structure aims to nurture sovereign AI capabilities and strengthen India’s digital economy.
