Widespread Damage Reported

The gusty winds caused significant damage to numerous houses, with roof tiles and metal sheets being blown away. Several residential areas were left without power as electricity poles were toppled, disrupting normal life. Local authorities have been deployed to assess the damage and restore essential services.

Impact on Infrastructure

In addition to the uprooted trees and poles, the storm also damaged vehicles and property in various parts of the city. The collapse of the club compound wall added to the chaos, though no casualties have been reported so far. Emergency crews are working to clear debris and repair the damaged infrastructure.
