Thunderstorm and Wind Advisory
Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds are likely to persist across the state until Wednesday. Wind speeds may reach 40 to 50 kilometers per hour, prompting authorities to advise residents to exercise caution. Several parts of Kerala received rainfall on Saturday, providing some relief from the heat.
Temperature Records: Palakkad recorded the highest temperature in the state at 38.3 degrees Celsius on Saturday, followed by Punalur at 38 degrees Celsius. The IMD has urged people to stay updated on weather alerts and take necessary precautions during the forecast period.
