The Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will conduct a pension adalat at its Bengaluru campus on Monday, June 29, 2026. The event is scheduled to begin at 2 pm at the LPSC Bengaluru campus.
Purpose of the Pension Adalat
The pension adalat aims to address and resolve pension-related grievances of retired ISRO employees and their family members. According to an official statement from LPSC, the initiative is part of ISRO's ongoing efforts to ensure timely and efficient resolution of pension issues.
Details of the Event
The adalat will provide a platform for pensioners to present their cases directly to officials. LPSC has invited all pensioners residing in and around Bengaluru to attend the event. The statement added that necessary documents should be brought for verification.
This is the first pension adalat organized by LPSC in 2026. Similar events have been held in the past at other ISRO centres, including the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) in Thiruvananthapuram and the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) in Sriharikota.
Impact on Pensioners
The adalat is expected to benefit hundreds of retired employees and their families. According to ISRO data, over 2,000 pensioners are associated with LPSC alone. The initiative aims to reduce pendency of pension cases and improve satisfaction among retirees.
Officials from the ISRO headquarters and the Department of Space will also be present to address queries. The event is part of the government's broader focus on pension reforms and grievance redressal.
