A violent territorial clash between two adult male leopards inside the leopard safari at the Balasaheb Thackeray Gorewada International Zoological Park in Nagpur resulted in the death of one animal and critical injuries to the other on Sunday afternoon. Zoo authorities suspect that one of the leopards may have entered the enclosure from the adjoining forest.

According to a statement from the zoo director, staff on routine patrol within the 25-hectare safari area discovered the two males locked in a fierce fight. One leopard died at the scene, while the other sustained severe injuries and is currently undergoing medical treatment.
