Panchkula: Newly elected mayor Sham Lal Bansal proposed the development of multi-level parking facilities across Panchkula during a meeting with Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday. The proposal comes amid mounting pressure from a rising number of vehicles and limited parking space in the city.
Modern Parking Systems Inspired by Existing Models
Bansal highlighted that modern parking systems could be developed along the lines of those near Mata Mansa Devi Temple and Nada Sahib. He explained that suitable sites would be identified first, followed by a joint meeting with officials from the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP), the municipal corporation, and the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority to take the proposal forward.
