World No Tobacco Day was observed at MDAV School in Chandigarh with the aim of raising awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco consumption. The event was organized by the school's Health Club, which arranged a series of activities designed to educate students about the dangers of tobacco use and second-hand smoke.
Competitions for Different Grades
Students from Classes III to V took part in a slogan writing competition, where they crafted impactful messages highlighting the risks of tobacco. Meanwhile, students in Classes VI to VIII participated in a poster making competition, creating visual representations of the dangers associated with tobacco. For the senior students of Classes IX and X, a debate was held on the harmful effects of tobacco, allowing them to articulate their arguments and insights on the topic.
Enthusiastic Participation
All students participated with great enthusiasm and effectively conveyed the message of leading a healthy, tobacco-free life. The activities not only educated the students but also encouraged them to spread awareness among their peers and families.
