MLA Anwar Sadath Intervenes and Provides Clarification

MLA Anwar Sadath stepped in to address the matter after being alerted to the pilgrims' plight. He shared insights with the media, explaining that weather constraints played a significant role in the decision. Due to adverse weather conditions, the airline needed to carry additional fuel to ensure the aircraft could fly for several hours if diversion became necessary. This requirement led to a reduction in the number of passengers allowed on board.

Sadath emphasized that the airline authorities have assured the stranded pilgrims of alternative facilities. They are committed to arranging new travel plans so the group can complete their Umrah pilgrimage without further delay.
