Bengaluru Schools Shift to Online, Half-Day Amid CM Swearing-In Traffic
Bengaluru Schools Adjust Schedules for CM Ceremony Traffic

Bengaluru: With traffic snarls expected in the city on Wednesday due to the swearing-in ceremony of the new chief minister, several schools have decided to adjust their schedules, either by changing timings or shifting to online classes.

Delhi Public School-Bangalore South Goes Online

Delhi Public School-Bangalore South has opted to hold online classes. Principal Anitha Bijesh explained that the decision was made after traffic police informed the school about road restrictions. “We did not want students and parents to be inconvenienced by the traffic regulations. At the same time, we did not want classes to be disrupted. So we’ve decided to conduct classes virtually,” she said.

In a note to parents, the school stated that traffic restrictions would be in place on Kanakapura Road from 7am to 5pm, potentially affecting travel. The virtual classes ensure that learning continues without interruption while avoiding the traffic chaos.
