Bihar CM Promotes Eco-Tourism via PPP Model

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Sunday directed officials to promote eco-tourism around all state government reservoirs through the public-private partnership (PPP) model and develop better infrastructure to attract visitors. The directive was issued during a review meeting on eco-tourism held at the Sankalp auditorium in Lok Sevak Awas, Patna.

Public Consultation and Tourism Packages

Samrat also instructed officials to consult the public and seek suggestions before proceeding with development plans. He emphasized the need to design tourism packages keeping tourists' convenience in mind and urged speeding up work in areas with strong tourism potential.

“The government's objective is to take the state forward in the tourism sector and to work rapidly on other potential areas of tourism development. The state has immense potential for spiritual, cultural and eco-tourism,” Samrat said.
