The Bihar government on Wednesday announced the launch of 'Brand Bihar,' a state-wide initiative under the chief secretary's cell aimed at strengthening the state's identity, improving its public image, and positioning Bihar as a destination for investment, innovation, and opportunity.

Objectives of the Initiative

The initiative has been established to unify the state's branding, communication, and positioning efforts. It will highlight developmental work, institutional reforms, entrepreneurship, innovation, cultural heritage, and citizen-led changes across Bihar. According to the government, 'Brand Bihar' will collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to build a shared narrative around the state's transformation and present it systematically and credibly on national and global platforms.

Key Components

The program will focus on evidence-based communication and storytelling to strengthen Bihar's image and identity. It will document and showcase ground-level development, governance reforms, departmental achievements, and their impact on citizens. A major component is to project Bihar as an investment-friendly destination by highlighting sector-wise opportunities and improving visibility among investors and industry leaders.
