Mumbai: The Central Railway has announced a megablock on its Main line and Harbour line this Sunday, affecting suburban services. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
Main Line Block Details
On the Main line, the megablock will be implemented on the Matunga-Mulund slow lines from 11:05 am to 3:55 pm. During this period, slow train services on this section will be suspended, and fast trains may be diverted or rescheduled.
Harbour Line Block Timings
For the Harbour line, there will be two separate blocks. The first block will be on the CSMT – Chunabhatti / Bandra Down Harbour line from 11:40 am to 4:40 pm. The second block will be on the Chunabhatti / Bandra – CSMT Up Harbour line from 11:10 am to 4:10 pm. Passengers using the Harbour line should expect delays and cancellations during these hours.
Western Railway Update
In contrast, the Western Railway has announced that there will be no day block on its suburban services this Sunday, meaning trains on the Western line will operate normally.
