New Delhi: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday held talks with the Minister-President of the German state of Thuringia, Mario Voigt, at the Delhi Secretariat. The discussions centered on deepening cooperation in key areas such as smart urban development, digital governance, skill development, and environmental technologies.
Key Areas of Collaboration
Both leaders explored opportunities to strengthen collaboration in sustainable infrastructure, innovation-driven governance, talent mobility, education, and workforce development. Mobility solutions, water management, and green technologies were at the forefront of the talks.
India-Germany Partnership
CM Gupta stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the India-Germany partnership continues to grow stronger across diverse sectors. She added, "Delhi is proud to contribute to this shared journey of innovation, sustainability and human development."
The Chief Minister's Office noted that there is growing engagement between Delhi and international partners on urban transformation and sustainable growth. The Delhi government highlighted its focus on leveraging technology and innovation to improve public service delivery and urban infrastructure.
