In a heartwarming incident in Hazaribag, two fishermen rescued a deer from drowning in the Konar dam on Thursday. The deer had wandered out of a nearby forest in search of water and ventured into the reservoir to drink, but began to drown.
Forest Department Responds Quickly
Upon receiving information about the distressed animal, a team from the forest department promptly arrived at the scene. Forester Sandip Das stated, "After learning about it, a forest department team reached the spot. Later, the deer was safely taken by them."
Respiratory Treatment and Release
Das further explained that the deer was provided with respiratory treatment to help it recover from the shock of near-drowning. After being stabilized, the deer was released back into the nearby forest, ensuring its return to its natural habitat.
The timely intervention by the fishermen and the forest department saved the deer's life, highlighting the importance of community involvement in wildlife conservation.
