Regional Plan 2041 Objectives

Officials explained that the Regional Plan 2041 anticipates rapid urbanization across the NCR in the coming years. The region's urban population is projected to reach around 57 percent by 2031 and nearly 67 percent by 2041. To address this growth, the draft plan proposes the creation of new residential and economic hubs across Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan. This strategy aims to reduce pressure on Delhi and promote sustainable regional development.

The development of Namo Cities is a key component of this broader strategy, designed to decentralize urban growth and create balanced development across the NCR.
