A helicopter carrying a dead body and five passengers crashed on Wednesday morning in eastern Nepal's Khotang district, resulting in one passenger sustaining injuries, according to officials cited by the ANI news agency. The incident occurred at approximately 11:51 am local time.

The Air Dynasty helicopter, bearing registration number 9N-ASQ, was attempting to land in a farmland area when it crashed. Rekha Kandel, the chief district officer of Khotang, confirmed that the helicopter had flown from Kathmandu and was transporting a deceased individual. She stated, "The helicopter crashed while landing in the farmland. It was carrying a dead body and had flown in from Kathmandu. No human casualties has been recorded. More details are due."
Initial reports indicate that the pilot, Sabin Thapa, and the other passengers escaped unharmed, with only one passenger injured. In response, the company dispatched another helicopter, registered as 9N-ANA, to rescue the injured individual.
