Heat Wave Conditions Persist
During daytime, streets remained deserted due to the intense heat waves, while nights were humid, leading to restless sleep for residents. Adding to the woes, frequent tripping of electricity further aggravated the situation.
Weather Forecast
According to Agro-Meteorology scientist Aditya Singh, the heat waves have originated from Rajasthan, causing a surge in temperatures that is expected to continue until Thursday. From Friday onwards, there is a chance of thunderstorms and light showers due to the enhancement of the western disturbance, which may provide some respite from the heat.
Residents are advised to stay hydrated and avoid going out during peak afternoon hours. Authorities are monitoring the power supply situation to minimize disruptions.
