His remarks came during the 'Manobal' event, a celebration of the partnership between the Australian High Commission and the KHUSHII Foundation, held on Monday in New Delhi.

Kapil Dev Highlights Strong Bilateral Ties

Kapil Dev, who founded the KHUSHII Foundation in 2003, expressed his gratitude towards Australia for its support of the Indian community. He also commended the contributions of Indians living in Australia. Speaking to reporters, he said: 'About the relationship between Australia and India, the governments are working very hard. For what Australia is doing for the Indian community there, I would like to say thanks on behalf of them. What a wonderful job Indian people are doing, and they are looking after our people.'

Dev further emphasized the importance of collective action for social impact. 'I am so grateful that people are getting together and trying to help KHUSHII. It is an organisation where we look after each other and look after underprivileged kids. If we can try to engage with each other, it will be very nice,' he added.
