NCC Camp in Varanasi Boosts Leadership and Discipline

Varanasi: On the fifth day of the 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-281) organized by the 91 UP Battalion NCC Mughalsarai, cadets participated in a variety of military and personality development activities on Wednesday. The camp included morning drill, a class firing competition, and several training sessions.

Training Highlights

During the training, cadets received technical knowledge in map reading, inspiring accounts of brave warriors, traffic control, career guidance, and the assembly and disassembly of .22 point rifles. These sessions aimed to equip the youth with practical skills and motivational insights.

Leadership and Discipline Emphasis

Camp Admin Officer Colonel S. Poonia stated that special emphasis is being placed on developing leadership skills, discipline, and fitness among the cadets. He noted that the objective of the NCC is to mold youth into responsible, strong, and developed citizens who can contribute positively to society.

Traffic Awareness and Blood Donation

The SI of Traffic from Varanasi Traffic Police also engaged the cadets, making them aware of traffic rules and road safety. Meanwhile, cadets and PI staff of the 91 UP Battalion participated enthusiastically in a blood donation program, showcasing their commitment to community service.

Patriotism and Self-Confidence

Special emphasis is being placed at the camp on developing patriotism, leadership ability, and self-confidence among the youth. These values are integral to the NCC's mission of nation-building.

The training camp will run until May 24, providing continuous opportunities for cadets to enhance their skills and character.
