Chennai: The South Central Railway (SCR) has extended the temporary modifications in the origination and termination of four unreserved MEMU passenger train services from Tirupati to Tiruchanur until June 6. This decision comes as part of ongoing operational adjustments to manage passenger flow and infrastructure maintenance.
Details of the Train Service Changes
According to an official release issued by the railway authorities, the following changes have been implemented and will remain in effect until June 6:
- Arakkonam–Tirupati MEMU Passenger (Train Number 66043): This train, which departs from Arakkonam at 9:15 AM, will now terminate at Tiruchanur at 11:45 AM instead of its usual destination of Tirupati.
- Tirupati–Moore Market Complex MEMU Passenger (Train Number 66070): This service will originate from Tiruchanur at 1:30 PM instead of Tirupati.
- Moore Market Complex–Tirupati MEMU Passenger (Train Number 66069): This train will terminate at Tiruchanur at 1:45 PM instead of Tirupati.
- Tirupati–Arakkonam MEMU Passenger (Train Number 66044): This service will originate from Tiruchanur at 3:50 PM instead of Tirupati.
