A major accident was averted in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh when a large tree crashed onto a tourist vehicle, causing significant damage but no injuries. The incident took place on the Manali-Kullu road, a busy route frequented by tourists.

The tree, uprooted due to heavy rains and strong winds, fell directly onto a car carrying a family of tourists. The vehicle was severely damaged, with the roof crushed and windows shattered. However, all occupants escaped unhurt, thanks to the quick response of locals who rushed to help.
Rescue Operation
Local residents and police personnel immediately reached the spot and extracted the trapped family from the damaged vehicle. The tourists, who were from Delhi, were taken to a nearby hospital for a check-up and later discharged. The road was cleared for traffic after removing the tree.
