A wild elephant created panic among villagers in Arvathoklu village, located in Ponnampet taluk, Karnataka, on Sunday evening when it entered a farmhouse. The incident occurred around 6 pm at the property owned by Kabbachira Biddu Uthappa.

Elephant Enraged by Dogs

According to officials, the elephant was enraged by the presence of dogs on the premises. It chased the dogs away before gatecrashing into the farmhouse. The elephant then entered the estate and later disappeared from the spot, leaving the residents shaken.

CCTV Footage Goes Viral

The entire sequence of events was captured on a CCTV camera installed by the house owner. The footage has since gone viral on social media platforms, drawing widespread attention. Forest department officials were alerted about the incident and promptly visited the location to assess the situation.
